JSP Online Mentorship

This is going to be way easier than you may be expecting. You are about to take a turn in your career that is unmatched because YOU are taking the initiative to learn. I'll keep things short and sweet, but read through all the details so we can ensure we're most prepared for our time together. I think it’s helpful for me to share a little about why I’m doing this.

I’ve spent countless hours trying to simplify my work load. Let’s be honest, balancing life as a wife, mother, friend, and business owner doesn’t happen over night. It takes numerous accounts of failure, getting back up, learning, and persevering. From the day I picked up my first “pro” camera to even today, I’ve sought out and valued other photographers that could help me see things from a new perspective and navigate the path to achieve my personal goals.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have more than one person dramatically help me on my photography journey. It has deeply inspired me to offer my support to others in the same way that I was able to benefit from so much.

Here are a couple of key things I’ve learned in growing a successful and enjoyable photography business:

1. You need an empowering group of people in your life that motivate and support you.

2. Success doesn’t just happen all at once or easily. It takes patience, dedication, and decisive action. While setting goals is important, manifestation of those goals requires an intentional mindset.

Since each individual photographer has different experience levels, styles, interests, etc., I have created this opportunity for mentorships that are catered to you individually. You deserve to have that customized guidance. A personalized experience that you’ll help create, will focus on your topics of greatest interest from the mentorship package you choose.

As I continually challenge myself to be the best mentor I can be for you, I ask that you help by challenging yourself as well. Create no limitations as to what you believe to be achievable. I’m eager to empower current and future talents in this industry. Plan on gaining immediately useful knowledge, mastering what you’ve learned, and ensuring growth in your craft and career. Scheduling Steps

  1. Carefully read through all of the details in each of the workflow packages.

  2. Once you have determined your package, click the “Book Now” link, select a date/time, sign the contract and pay the deposit ($475) to secure your spot,.. then give yourself a pat on the back—YOU are manifesting your dreams.

    • If you want to book both the Business Workflow and Post-Processing workflow packages, you can. You’ll still select one time slot when booking, and the deposit amount will remain the same. Make sure to indicate this on the questionnaire you’ll receive—see Step 3.

  3. You’ll receive a confirmation email that will include your questionnaire. Please be detailed and specific when completing this—the more I know the more I can help you achieve your goals.

    • This is where you’ll indicate if you want to include the 30-min add-on or purchase both workflow packages. To be clear, the 30-min add on can only be added to one of the workflow packages and cannot be booked on its own.

  4. Wait to receive our Zoom link and further instructions.

The Business Workflow Package

What’s included?

  • A start to finish walk-through from inquiry to gallery delivery, which includes client communication and all the back-end business details that make life better and easier for you and your clients.

  • Business Management Services that I use, how I use them, and a special discount code (woo-hoo!).

  • Studio set up—finding the right space then making it your own.

  • Advice on creating and using a client closet, creating a cohesive look for the session, favorite vendors, and utilizing one of my favorite wardrobe styling tools—Style & Select.

  • Learn how to add value and create a luxury client experience.

  • My go-to prompts to get clients moving naturally to capture the moment. We’ll review a recent client gallery to discuss posing workflow during a session.

  • Understanding the importance of light and locations.

  • Information on achieving a seamless aesthetic on social platforms, how I achieved 80k followers organically, and optimally maintaining your interactions with your following.

  • A Reference Guide will be sent after our meeting with important things to remember, tips, discount codes, and more.

  • You will also be added to a private Facebook group following our time together where you can ask questions, get helpful tips, utilize others in the group, and network!

What Customizations are Offered?

Your questionnaire will be used to customize your mentorship session. We’ll thoroughly cover all of the bullet points listed above and emphasize what you want to focus on. Make sure to indicate what is most important to you on the questionnaire.

The Business Workflow Package is currently being offered at a discounted price of $950.00—Book NOW! There is a $475 non-refundable deposit required.

90-min, one-on-one virtual mentorship session.


The Post-Processing Workflow Package

What’s Included?

  • Information on camera settings to import and export settings.

  • My exclusive and highly sought after custom presets.

  • Quality time making adjustments to my presets so that they are applicable to your aesthetic and true to you.

  • Understanding the importance of light and locations and the effect they have on editing.

  • Learning how I achieve creamy skin tones in Lightroom without using Photoshop or Portraiture.

  • My go-to tips, tweaks, and local adjustment brushes that aid in achieving polished perfection every time.

  • A video recording of my editing process will be included so that you can refer back to all the material. That way you don’t feel stressed to take notes during our time together.

  • Client Photo Gallery—sharing, delivery, selling, and printing.

  • Sharing on social media.

  • A Reference Guide will be sent after our time together with important things to remember, tips, discount codes, and more.

  • You will also be added to a private Facebook group following our time together where you can ask questions, get helpful tips, utilize others in the group, and network!

30-min add-on

What’s Included?

  • Choose from any of the topics in the Business Workflow and Post-Processing Workflow packages.

Price?

$350—this is in addition to the Business Workflow or Post-Processing Workflow package fee.

Length of Session?

Our time will consist of 90 minutes covering the Post-Processing Workflow or Business Workflow package you select, then 30 additional minutes focusing on any topics listed in this section above—120 minutes total.

Things to Note

90-120 minutes is not nearly enough time to cover all of the available topics. This is where the importance of your questionnaire comes into play. While completing your questionnaire, please indicate the topics pertaining to what will be most useful to you—you know yourself better than anyone else! If you aren’t sure, I can give you suggestions.


Requirements

You must have a basic knowledge of Lightroom Classic as well as owning and operating a DSLR in manual mode. Considering all of the valuable information we’ll be covering, I will not have the time to teach basic camera and or Lightroom functions. You must also shoot RAW, not JPEG.

There is a 100 mile radius restriction in place. You must live and operate your business outside of a 100 mile radius of Kansas City. For my international folks, if you are proficient in English you are more than welcome to take advantage of my mentorship. Unfortunately, at this time, English is the only language available.

Please note that registering while failing to comply with these requirements will only result in a partial refund since the deposit ($475) is non-refundable.
